Halloween Trick or Treating Notification

West Goshen Township does not establish dates or times for Trick-or-Treating. Because of COVID-19 concerns, many people will not be participating in Trick-or Treating this year. Township residents are reminded to please respect neighbors who do not participate in Trick-or-Treating. The standard practice is to keep your front porch light on if you are participating and to turn it off if you are not.

For families who wish to celebrate Halloween but have concerns about Trick-or Treating, the West Goshen Township Park and Recreation Department will sponsor a drive-thru Trick-or-Treat at West Goshen Community Park on Halloween, October 31st, between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. Children can wear their costumes in the car and receive bags of goodies. The person in the passenger seat receiving the goodies MUST wear a protective facemask.

Please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention webpage for Holiday Celebrations for advice on celebrating Halloween safely.
