Harvest Festival

The West Goshen Township Park and Recreation Board invites West Goshen residents to a Harvest Celebration on Sunday, October 28, 2018 between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at West Goshen Community Park.  This event is FREE OF CHARGE to all West Goshen residents.  Festivities include fun for the whole family!

  • Make use of your old clothes and see if you can win a prize by entering the scarecrow contest.
  • Come dressed in costume or in your daily human disguise.
  • Guess the weight of West Goshen’s largest pumpkin.
  • Have your face painted with your choice of Halloween designs.
  • Enjoy the moonbounce, giant slide, and obstacle course.
  • Have a cup of apple cider, some cookies, and apples straight from the orchard.
  • Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch.  Pick a pumpkin to decorate and bring home.

Guests are encouraged to bring toothpast, 3-in-1 body wash, battery-powered electric toothbrushes, socks, underwear (L, XL, XXL), and T-shirts and sweatshirts (L, XL, XXL) for the Veterans Administration Hospital of Coatesville.  Click here for more information about donations for the veterans.

The Park and Recreation Board requests participants preregister by emailing your name, address, and number and ages of children participating to klehr@westgoshen.org.  Please indicate if you would like to receive future emails from the Park and Recreation Department.
