Events and Updates

The West Goshen Township Park and Recreation Department offers a variety of quality public recreation opportunities for the benefit of West Goshen residents at an affordable price in a fun and safe environment.

Fall Movie Series:  The West Goshen Park and Recreation Department announces the 2019 Fall Movie Series.

Resident Art Exhibit:  West Goshen Township is seeking submissions through September 30th of artwork to be shown in the West Goshen Township Administration Building through the months of September and October 2019 by West Goshen residents..

Township Yard Sale:  The Annual West Goshen Township Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, October 12th between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.  West Goshen residents can register to have their properties added to the Yard Sale Map, or can reserve a space at the West Goshen Municipal Complex.

Harvest Festival:  West Goshen residents are invited to celebrate the annual Harvest Festival at West Goshen Community Park on Sunday, October 20th betweeen 2:00 and 4:00 PM.

Bus Trips:  Schedule of 2019 bus trips is now available.

Dogpark: The dogpark is open year-round however it is closed for routine maintenance Monday through Thursday between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AMClick HERE for the rules and additional information.

Lambert Skatepark: Our skatepark at Robert E. Lambert Park is open year-round for both skateboarding and inline skating (aka rollerblading) only. Click HERE to view the rules and see check out the action on our webcam.

Pavilion Rentals: Pavilion rentals are available for groups at Barker Park, located on Falcon Lane and Westtown Road, Coopersmith Park, located on Spring Lane, and West Goshen Community Park, located on N. Five Points and Fern Hill Roads. Each park is equipped with picnic tables, charcoal grills, ball fields and playground areas.  A rental fee is charged for the use of electricity, water and rest rooms. Township parks are open daily from dawn to dusk. Groups may check the availability of these facilities by contacting the Park and Recreation Office at 610-696-5266 or by e-mailing Klehr@westgoshen.org. The Application for Pavilion Rental is available online. Application and payment are due at least twelve business days prior to event date to be approved.

Did you know that many of the events sponsored by the West Goshen Park and Recreation Board are free to the public? The West Goshen Park and Recreation Board asks anyone attending a free public event to bring a donation of a dry good item for the West Chester Food Cupboard and the Coatesville Veterans Hospital.
