The West Goshen Township Park and Recreation Department offers a variety of quality public recreation opportunities for the benefit of West Goshen residents at an affordable price in a fun and safe environment.

UPDATE: Township Parks Facilities Reopening Plan

Enjoy a FREE Drive-In Concert from the comfort of your car with local musician Rob Dickenson on Saturday, October 24th at 4:00 PM.

Registrations have filled for the remaining films in the Fall Drive – In Movie Series.

Children living in West Goshen Township can participate in a Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat at West Goshen Community Park on Halloween, October 31st between 3:00 and 5:00 PM.

Social Distancing Egg Hunt:  West Goshen residents who participated in the Social Distancing Egg Hunt may turn in their tally sheets for Easter Eggs at the West Goshen Township Administration Building Mondays through Fridays, 7 AM until 5 PM.

Dogpark: Occupancy limit inside fence is 25 humans. Masks or face coverings are strongly recommended.  Please practice 6’ social distancing at all times.

The dogpark is open year-round however it is closed for routine maintenance Monday through Thursday between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AMClick HERE for the rules and additional information.

Lambert SkateparkOccupancy limit inside fence is 25 skaters.  Masks or face coverings are strongly recommended.  Please practice 6′ social distancing at all times. 

Our skatepark at Robert E. Lambert Park is open year-round for both skateboarding and inline skating (aka rollerblading) only.

Pavilion Rentals: Postponed until further notice.
Pavilion rentals are available for groups at Barker Park, located on Falcon Lane and Westtown Road, Coopersmith Park, located on Spring Lane, and West Goshen Community Park, located on N. Five Points and Fern Hill Roads. Each park is equipped with picnic tables, charcoal grills, ball fields and playground areas.  A rental fee is charged for the use of electricity, water and rest rooms. Township parks are open daily from dawn to dusk. Groups may check the availability of these facilities by contacting the Park and Recreation Office at 610-696-5266 or by e-mailing Klehr@westgoshen.org. The Application for Pavilion Rental is available online. Application and payment are due at least twelve business days prior to event date to be approved.

Did you know that many of the events sponsored by the West Goshen Park and Recreation Board are free to the public? The West Goshen Park and Recreation Board asks anyone attending a free public event to bring a donation of a dry good item for the West Chester Food Cupboard and the Coatesville Veterans Hospital.
