CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY SHUTDOWN

CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES HALTED

Governor Wolf’s latest order has provided further guidance and now shuts down all “non-life sustaining” businesses for the time being.  Construction, initially deemed last week as essential, is now shutdown per the Governor’s order.

In order to comply with this order, West Goshen will not be issuing permits, conducting inspections, or initiating any code enforcement activities beyond emergencies that arise until the order is lifted.

FOR RESIDENTS: If you seek to log a complaint regarding such activities you believe is not appropriate under the Governor’s order, please call our administration at 610-696-5266 so that we can investigate as soon as we possibly can under the current circumstances.

Please understand that emergencies could still present the need for construction to take place if it is necessary for the health, safety, or welfare of a person or the community (i.e. hot water heater replacement or broken water pipes)

FOR BUSINESSES: If you seek a waiver from the Governor’s order, please write to this email address: RA-dcexemption@pa.gov

You may also contact the Administration with questions about whether you need to close: ra-dcedcs@pa.gov or by calling 1-877-PA-HEALTH and selecting option 1.
