Robert B. Little, a longtime West Goshen Resident who served as a Township Supervisor, passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 78.
A Philadelphia native, Little moved to West Goshen Township after serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He involved himself in numerous organizations in his adopted hometown, including First West Chester Fie Company, Elks Lodge #853, FOP Lodge #11, American Legion Post #134, Goshen Fire Company, and Fame Fire Company. He was the first person to twice serve a president of the Exchange Club of West Chester, and he was the West Chester area chairman for the West Goshen Republican Party. Prior to serving as a West Goshen Supervisor in 2001, Little served on the Township’s Planning Commission for twenty years and was the West Goshen’s first Emergency Coordinator.
Little is survived by his son, Seth R. Little of Las Vegas, NV and his daughter Ashley M. Mahoney of Downingtown, PA, his sister Patricia Madara of West Chester and his brother Richard Little of West Chester and stepbrothers Donald Littlewood of Berwyn and Richard Littlewood of Bryn Mawr. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Little and his step-brother Tom Littlewood.
