I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the West Goshen Township community for their support during 2022. There were several changes this year, including bringing on board our new Assistant Township Manager, Jaime Jilozian, and Township Engineer, Bryan Kulakowsky. Both are welcome additions to the Township administration and we are very happy to have them as part of our team. I would be remiss if I did not thank our retiring Township Engineer, Rick Craig, for his service. Mr. Craig has served the Township for 22 years and is proceeding into retirement. I would like to thank Mr. Craig for his service to the Township.
Looking forward to 2023, there are several projects on our itinerary. The Township will continue to invest in its infrastructure, including repairs to our storm sewer system, some of which will utilize funds from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Grant applications are also being submitted to fund other improvements. We are also preparing for our 2023 road paving program, the details of which will be announced in the beginning of 2023. Finally, park improvements and planning initiatives are on the docket for next year, with the Township staff actively seeking grant funding for these endeavors.
As we close out 2022, I would like to express my appreciation to the Board of Supervisors, the members of all of the Township’s volunteer boards, and the Township staff across every department for all their support and guidance during the year. We have a great team and are happy to help.
