The West Goshen Township Board of Supervisors adopted the 2022 Budget on December 21, 2021. The budget projects revenue from a variety of sources and sets forth the spending plan for the Township for the upcoming year. The Township’s budget is comprised of six (6) funds. For 2022, the Township’s expenditure budget across all funds is as follows:
General Fund – $17,851,694
Sewer Fund – $7,507,419
Waste & Recycling Fund – $2,723,398
State Highway Fund – $730,000
Capital Reserve Fund – $3,359,822
American Rescue Fund – $543,000
Included in the 2022 Budget were increases to the waste and recycling and sewer fees in the amounts of $10.00/quarter and $15.00/quarter, respectively. The increase to the waste and recycling fee was necessary due to the Township’s new contract with Republic Services and the increased cost for disposal. The increase to the sewer fee was necessary due to the continued investment and operation of the Township’s sanitary sewer system. These new fees will be reflected in the first quarter billing for 2022 in April.
