Reminder: this is for trash carts only, not recycling.
Starting Monday November 8th Republic Services will begin changing out the gray township trash carts for their new blue carts. This trash cart changeout comes as the original township trash carts are nearing the end of their service life, as part of the new five-year trash contract. Starting on Monday November 8th, please leave your township gray trash cart at the street and it will be swapped out for the new blue cart as trash is collected over the next 3 weeks. Once you receive the new blue cart, please do not put any trash in the gray cart and leave the old cart on the street for collection. All of the old township carts will be properly recycled during this project. Once all of the new blue cans are distributed trash will no longer be collected from the old gray carts. The trash service will remain the same with twice a week trash collection from the single blue cart assigned to your residence. Thank you for your cooperation with this project.
