West Goshen Community Park turns 25 this September! To celebrate this milestone, the West Goshen Park and Recreation Department will host a celebration at Community Park on Sunday, September 12th between 1:00 and 5:00 PM. The day promises fun for the whole family with the following activities:
Egg Hunt: Due to COVID-19 precautions, the West Goshen Egg Hunt was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. Children living in West Goshen ages 2 through 9 can participate in a special Fall Egg Hunt at 1:30 PM on September 12th and scramble to gather eggs filled with candy, toys, and coins. Parents are reminded to check contents of eggs before children place anything in their mouths!
Family fun: Between 1:00 and 4:00 PM families can enjoy a giant inflatable slide, moonbounce, and obstacle course, enjoy craft projects, take a ride on a pony and check out a petting zoo. All activities are FREE OF CHARGE!
Food Trucks: Families can enjoy food and dessert from food trucks. Note these will not be free.
The Greaseband: Festivities conclude at 3:00 PM with a FREE concert by The Greaseband. In the event of rain, the concert would be moved to the West Chester East High School Auditorium. Visit www.westgoshen.org or call 610-696-5266 on September 12th for rain determination.
