Local West Goshen and surrounding Veterans will be able to take advantage of the Chester County Recorder of Deeds' Military Discharge and County Veteran ID & Discount Programs a little closer to home on October 7th from 9AM to 12PM at the West Goshen Township building. Veterans who record their discharge document(s) on-site will then be eligible to immediately receive a county-issued Photo ID card. A collection of roughly 100 Chester County businesses partner with the Recorder of Deeds to offer various discounts and specials to veterans who present their County ID Card.
Also available on-site: Staff of Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, the VMC of Downingtown, the VA Medical Center of Coatesville and State Senator John Kane.
The Recorder of Deeds (ROD) will record your DD-214 or other discharge documents into its secure database for safeguarding, then issue a Photo ID Card to earn discounts at roughly 100 businesses within Chester County. Masks will be mandatory. Please visit ChesCo.org/Recorder for more information and stay updated on COVID-19 restrictions for this event through the ROD website and WestGoshen.org.
