West Goshen Township Invites Dog Owners to Become "Watch Dogs"
Roonie's Canine Corner at Robert E. Lambert Park reopened on April 1, 2008. With the reopening, the West Goshen Board of Supervisors remind visitors to the dogpark that they are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Failure by users to clean up after their dogs may result in the permanent closure of the dogpark.
To help make sure visitors to Roonie's Canine Corner, particularly new visitors, are aware of park rules and etiquette, West Goshen Township has
invited regular users of the dogpark to join the "Watch Dog" group. Besides educating their peers of safe and sanitary dogpark practices, "Watch Dogs" serve as liaisons with the West Goshen Park and Recreation
Department and Township Manager, notifying the Township of concerns and issues they see from the perspective of dog owners.
Look for "Watch Dogs" in their distinctive West Goshen Township caps at Robert E. Lambert Park. For more information about becoming a "Watch Dog," call 610-696-5266.
