BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
May 26, 2010

A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of West Goshen Township was called to order by Chairman Edward G. Meakim, Jr., at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the West Goshen Township Administration Building. All members were present. Mr. Meakim opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Mr. Meakim opened the floor for public comment. No comments were made.

Dr. White announced that the Board met in Executive Session on May 19, 2010 to discuss real estate matters.

Mr. Casey LaLonde, Township Manager, stated that the paving agreement with Allan A. Myers was ready for the Board to sign today. The bid for the 2010 Road Re-Surfacing Project was awarded at the May 12, 2010 Board of Supervisors meeting.

Mr. LaLonde announced that the Township would be closed on Monday, May 31, 2010 for Memorial Day.

Mr. LaLonde announced that the paving in the Township will start on June 7, 2010 and continue for about 45 days. In response to a question from Mrs. Evelyn Baker, 900 Sheridan Drive, Mr. LaLonde said that a schedule for when individual roads will be paved is not yet completed but it should be available on June 1, 2010.

On a motion by Ms. McIlvaine and seconded by Dr. White, the Board unanimously approved the Board of Supervisors minutes of May 12, 2010.

On a motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved the bills to be paid from the General Fund, the Sewer Fund, the Waste and Recycling Fund and the Capital Reserve Fund.

Prior to the consideration of the Decision and Order for the conditional use application of Craig Scott, Inc., d/b/a Scott Honda of West Chester, Mr. LaLonde reviewed the conditions set in the document. Mrs. Baker asked about the unloading and loading of car carriers on Township roads and Mr. LaLonde replied that the West Goshen Township Ordinance does not allow unloading and loading of car carriers on Township roads.

On motion by Dr. White, seconded by Ms. McIlvaine, the Board unanimously approved the Decision and Order for the conditional use application of Craig Scott, Inc., d/b/a Scott Honda of West Chester. The hearing for this application was held on April 28, 2010.

Mr. Meakim opened the floor for comment. No comments were made.

There being no further business, on motion by Mr. Meakim, seconded by Dr. White, the meeting was adjourned at 4:06 p.m.
